About
Miguel De La Rosa is a London-based orchestral and cinematic composer who scores music for film and visual media.
Born in Mexico, he studied composition and conducting at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla before earning a Master's in Scoring for Film, TV & Video Games at Berklee College of Music (Valencia), and an Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music in London — where he's been based ever since.
Over the past seven years he's collaborated with directors and filmmakers across short film, animation, and documentary, with recordings at Air Lyndhurst, Angel Studios, and the Palau de les Arts among others.
He rarely composes without a project in mind. For Miguel, music only makes sense in relation to something — a story, a scene, a feeling a director is trying to land. That instinct for collaboration is what shapes every score he writes.
Currently based in London and open to new projects.
